A Relaxing Spring Sunset on Lake Maggiore | Afternoon Trip to Cerro, Italy

Описание: Today we'll be going on an early spring sunset walk on Lake Maggiore, one of the three big lakes in northern Italy!
This walk takes place along the lakefront of a hamlet called Cerro, located about halfway up the eastern shore of said lake.
We'll be there on a very laid back and windy afternoon too, which is an amazing time for a relaxing stroll by the lakeside! We really couldn't have been more lucky!
The view from here is just stunning, and on top of that it's also the perfect location where to enjoy a glimmering sunset just as the sun is setting behind the mountains on the opposite shore.

This hamlet may be small, but it's also full of character! The quaint lakeside buildings and small port tell a story of fishing and of a population that has always lived in close contact with the lake, like many similar towns and villages located along the local shores.
Cerro is also a place known for its beautiful sandy beach, where you can enjoy a relaxing hot summer day while feeling the breeze brought by the lake and basking in the sun.
This is a particularly great spot for that, because the lakefront is equipped with everything you might need on such a day: public toilets and showers, a couple of cafes, a tiny library and a fully equipped playground!
While on the beach you might also encounter some of the local fauna, like the friendly ducks and swans that populate this enchanting lake. :)
