Mercedes GLB250 X247 Line output converter LOC install tips!

Описание: installation guides are not my thing, however when I took a quick look online to find out what the X247 Burmester audio speaker wire colors were to make this process a little quicker, I was shocked to find that there was zero information available, no wiring diagrams NOTHING! what I did find was a freekin ton of people asking about LOC installs and no one providing accurate information, this is just enough info to get you rolling, I hope this helps!

HOW TO RUN WIRE FROM THE STARTING BATTERY TO THE TRUNK!
I know this is going to come up, behind the drivers side window wiper there is a large plastic access panel, this is by far the most easy route to run cable into the cabin, the top plastic trim across the base of the windshield has to come up, there are 5 pull tabs across the front and two plastic nuts either side, the wiper blade assembly has to come up next, get some WD-40 in the bolt and wiggle them up, this should give you enough access to get to the plastic panel it will take some fiddling but you will need to drill a hole and add a grommet then run wire through, there is another plastic trim piece behind it it can be accessed from below the dash!

DO I HAVE TO GET A SIGNAL FROM BOTH DOORS?
this depends on the amp that you are looking to run and its intended purpose, if you are only setting up a mono block amp to run a woofer then no, one door will be fine as it does not matter if you are setting up a left or right channel. If you are setting up a multi channel amp to run upgraded door drivers then yes you will need to obtain a left/right signal to your LOC.

ANY INFO ON CLIPPING POINT AND OUTPUT VOLTAGE FROM THE FACTORY SOURCE?
we ran the DD1+ on the door we tapped into and found that there was no distortion even at full volume, this is most likely due to low end roll off filtered in automatically by the source. HOWEVER at full volume we were seeing a 5.2v output signal, play it safe and back your maximum volume back a few clicks, most modern amps are not going to like anything above 5v some, even lower.
