16 Hp Geiser Peerless built in 1897. This engine was exhibited at the Henry Ford Museum for many years, and deaccessioned a few years ago.
Note the archaic features, S curved flywheel spokes, wooden wheel spokes, and wooden front wheels.
Color scheme is speculative. The museum had it in bare metal, and the Geiser family refuses to cooperate with researchers.
