SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket with the Starlink Group 6-89 mission from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) in Florida. This launch flew 29 Starlink v2 Mini Optimized satellites with a total mass of 16,675 kilograms (36,762 lbs.) to а 559 kilometers (347 miles) low Earth orbit (LEO) at an inclination of 43 degree to the equator (with the initial orbit 260 × 270 kilometers or 162 × 168 miles). The flight took place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 03:08:10 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) or on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:08:10 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). This was the 89th launch according to the official number (actually, the 84th launch) to the 6th Starlink shell.
Falcon booster B1092 took a northeastern trajectory from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A). After stage separation, the booster reentered Earth’s atmosphere and landed safely atop SpaceX’s A Shortfall of Gravitas (ASOG) autonomous spaceport drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean, northeast of the Cape. The Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, tail number B1092, launched for an 8th time.
