W&LE 7003 Sand train pound down the CF&E

W&LE 7003 leads a trio of SD40-2's east on the Chicago Ft Wayne and Eastern Railroad. This is a loaded sand train with W&LE engines but a CF&E crew. I followed them east out of Ft Wayne Indiana. At Monroeville they passed between the abutments of the Ft. Wayne, Van Wert & Lima Traction Co interurban line. I also filmed them at Convoy & Van Wert. The got a Wheeling crew at Lima and ran east as WE430. I filmed them at NS Tower in Lima and Ada both times passing former Pennsylvania Railroad stations. At the end I filmed a bad spot in Ada where the rail is spiked straight into ballast!
