Legendary actress Catherine O'Hara has died, aged 71.
The Canadian-born O'Hara died at her home in Los Angeles "following a brief illness," according to a statement from her agency, CAA. Further details were not immediately available.
Born on March 4, 1954, in Toronto, Ontario, she was the sixth of seven children and of Irish descent. Raised Catholic, O’Hara grew up alongside her younger sister, musician and actress Mary Margaret O’Hara, who would also go on to a celebrated creative career.
