Which we visited back in the summer of this year 2025, such a beautiful, beautiful place.
Such a peaceful final resting place .
Southern cemetery opened 1879,and is the uk’s largest municipal cemetery,a vast Victorian garden burial ground designed by H.J Paull,
reflecting the city’s growth with grand chapels ,monuments and resting places for famous figures.
A significant site for commonwealth war graves, with scattered graves and dedicated plots for ww1 and ww2 , including memorial wall.
