The bunion in Reflexology is more commonly recognized on the feet. Bunionettes (or Tailor's Bunions) are located just below the little toe and the bone pouches out just like the bunion on the medial or opposite side grows out.
In Reflexology, the bunionette represents the shoulder itself. Tailor's bunions are most often seen in people that do a lot of repetitive movements with their shoulders such as painters, hair dressers, body builders, massage therapists, reflexologists, etc. Any job that calls for repetitive use of the shoulders can be the reason these develop. It is quite common to see a larger bunionette located on the dominant side of the body, as in painters who use their dominant side for the brush strokes.
Emotionally speaking the shoulders are about being a very responsible person. Getting jobs accomplished. This makes you a good employee for anyone looking to hire you for the job.
