Описание: From the earliest planning stages of the Clayton Community Centre, HCMA have focused intentions on how this building can make the Clayton community healthier, stronger, and more connected.

Consider the size of this lobby. Compare this to other community centres you've visited. Why do you think this space is so large? Notice the unique tables with the wooden tops. Picture combining them together to create one long table. Imagine having a dinner here with your neighbors. What would you eat?

This space is called our Community Living Room. Its design allows for spaces and uses to grow and expand into the adjacent areas like the Visual Arts studio and outdoor deck, providing flexibility to meet users’ needs. This is in response to Clayton residents’ expression of a deep need for somewhere they could come and meet each other - a place to share experiences, moments, and thrive together.
