Why you should do them
You've conquered pull ups and now you're ready for the next challenge, right? One arm pullups are no longer just a pipe dream they're virtually in the bag! This exercise can help you gain the strength required whilst still keeping you balanced and coordinated. You can increase the amount of work that the working arm must do by moving your hand placement further away from the horizontal bar.
Points to remember
Try to maintain your stability primarily through using your working arm and not the strap.
Maintain your body as level as possible during the movement's completion. This will prove useful later on when you no longer have your supporting arm to assist with your balance.
