Acessa is a minimally invasive radiofrequency treatment for fibroids. This laparoscopic procedure is performed in the operating room under general anesthesia. However, Acessa allows a patient to preserve her uterus while removing fibroids less invasively than a surgical hysterectomy or myomectomy.
