Khamlia lies on the southern doorway to the Sahara. We travel to the village of Khamlia to see a performance of the famous Gnawa musicians at Dar Gnaoua Bambara Khamlia. The journey there is amazing, with a desert crossing by camel, a meeting of imazighen, and a visit to an abandoned mud city by an ancient well.
