ABSOLUTE AND RELATIVE MAXIMA AND MINIMA - Find the global and local minimum and maximum on a graph

Описание: Finding local maxima/minima vs absolute maxima/minima is the first step in any optimization problem. Obviously there would be some similarities between them, but in this video I'll show you the difference between local maximum vs absolute maximum values as well as local minimum vs absolute minimum values.

These may also be referred to as relative maxima and minima instead of local maxima and minima. And also, global maxima and minima are the same as absolute maxima and minima.

After learning the difference between these different maxima and minima, I will show you how to find absolute and local minimum and maximum values on a graph. Knowing how to find absolute and relative extrema on a graph will be a useful skill for visualizing optimization problems.
