Tam Coc Vietnam: renowned for its stunning scenery is the area round Ninh Binh worth a few days?

Описание: After a few hours on the bus from Phong Nha to Tam Coc we arrived in this lovely little town. The weather was still damp but with lots to see and do we bought new coats and went to the ancient city, the pagodas and the boat ride at Trang Am (we had heard this was better than the one in Tam Coc itself).

Hi - we are Callum and Jan - and having decided to give up work in our 50's we are travelling through SE Asia over the next few months. We have already done a driving trip round Europe (Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Croatia, more of Italy, Austria, Germany and Holland) in 2021, 10 weeks in Thailand in Spring 2022 and 10 weeks in Peru and Colombia in Autumn 2022.
