Hong Kong protesters waved the stars and stripes and sang the U.S. national anthem outside the U.S. consulate in Hong Kong on Sunday to thank President Donald Trump for signing into law two bills that would ban the exports of anti-riot munitions to China and impose possible sanctions on potential human rights violations.
It has seen some calm last week after its local elections delivered an overwhelming victory to pro-democracy candidates.
