For years, neurodevelopmental care has been a central focus in NICUs, ensuring the highest standards in areas like thermoregulation, touch, light, kangaroo care, and sound management. Today, GE HealthCare is taking another step forward, enhanced the solution to further reduce noise around the patient by redirecting alarms from monitors and incubators away from the NICU bedside, while defaulting the incubator to its quietest settings for minimal disruption. These alarms will now be sent directly to the assigned nurse’s mobile device and/or the command center.
