The Interpreter Foundation is pleased to offer two seminars from noted scholar Dr. Margaret Barker. Her presentations will be on two successive Saturdays, November 9 and November 16, 2024.
The November 16 seminar examines five examples from Qumran texts of Deuteronomy and Isaiah to explore how and why differences arose, and which of the versions was the more likely to have been used by the first Christians.
Kevin Christensen, who has done much to make Dr. Barker’s work known to Latter-day Saints, will introduce her in the seminars. Jeff Lindsay will serve as the host for the events and as the contact person for questions or comments.
