Imam Ali (A.S.) said:

“Standing for the night prayer makes one’s body healthy, achieves the pleasure of the Lord, and receives the mercy of Allah.”

The Prophet taught:

“The nobility of a believer lies in his night prayer.”

Imam Jaʿfar al-Sadiq (A.S.) noted that Allah never specified the full reward of Tahajjud because its blessings are immeasurable. These teachings inspire believers — especially in the Ismaili and Shi‘i traditions — to cherish this practice as a moment of divine intimacy and spiritual elevation.
