Описание: How did all European post-communist countries develop in terms of GDP (PPP) over the past 25 years? Revolution in Eastern Europe was followed by drastic economical downswing from which many countries had to recover. Now, after 30 years of changes, we can say that poor eastern Europe is no longer poor. How does Russia stand against other nations now and which of these is the richest eastern European country? Let's see and discuss.

CAUTION:

1. There were no data available for Slovenia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia until 1995. In these cases, the average growth rate of the nearest region was used to calculate the estimated value. In the case of Estonia, data are shown from 1993, since no similar region is present due to geographical placement.

2. Kosovo was not included in the comparison since not all of the countries included in this video recognized its independence.

3. GDP (PPP) is a measure which consists of crude income compared to prices of goods in countries or regions. Value widely represents the economic position of individuals and is usually considered as a pretty accurate statistic. If the data are "per capita", then it means the Value for the whole country is divided by the population. Numbers may vary from one source to another based on a methodical approach to the collection of data.

4. Numbers present are the average of all individuals including children, students, unemployed and retired expressed in international USD value to date (19.04.2019).

5. There are no data for Estonia until 1993, Bosna and Herzegovina until 1994, Serbia until 1995 and Montenegro until 2000 mainly due to the high variance of value in different sources.
