Описание: This "ghost town" was abandoned in the 1950's and is slowly being reclaimed by the desert. Mary and I obtained photographer’s permits allowing us entry prior to dawn and to return later that day prior to sunset if we chose to return (way too hot to spend the entire day there). Otherwise, the regular permits allow entry well after sunup and departure well before sundown. We had the place to ourselves as no others showed up for sunrise or sunset. It was a bit eerie, particularly for the sunset walkabout. It is easy to imagine ghosts following us around. As the sun slipped below the horizon and corner shadows darkened, my imagination was sure to increase the anxiety. Mary and I would separate as we explored the many interesting perspectives afforded by decrepit structures often filling with sand, the angles of view offered through many doors, the view out the windows, and the shafts of light through failing roofs or through the windows.
