Two Entangled Seals Rescued From Fishing Line

Описание: Naude and the OCN team are joined by a group of marine biologists on their patrol at Pelican Point. Wally has spotted a seal with a fine line around its neck, possibly a recapture. Recaptures are seals that have been rescued before and their scar can easily be mistaken for a piece of plastic. The OCN team catch two entangled seals. One "patient" almost escapes from the net. Naude sees it just in time to prevent the premature escape.

The first fishing line entanglement is almost overgrown completely, only showing a small piece of the actual line. Naude slowly pulls it out of the wound, and the seal can start recovering in the salty water. The second seal also shows a deep cut from fishing line,making it difficult to spot a tag and cut it off, but they rescuers are successful and the seal is free to join his friends. 🦭
