An obstacle detection level crossing located within Grimsby, this one found away from the main town centre at the entrance to the docks and Port of Grimsby. It is located on a tight railway bend in between Grimsby Docks and New Clee Stations, and there is a third guide rail here for safety, as well as a slow line speed. The level crossing equipment dates back to re-signalling on the line which happened in 2015, and this is the only level crossing in the town which doesn't have additional pedestrian lights. This level crossing is rather wide as it is relatively frequently used by heavy goods vehicles accessing the port, and the whole level crossing itself is located on a sweeping road bend. In clear view of this level crossing is the Grimsby Dock Tower, a unique landmark which can be seen from across Grimsby and in some of the surrounding areas.
