Arithmetic progression is a sequence of quantities or numbers that have a constant difference between two adjacent numbers of the sequence. An arithmetic sequence is defined uniquely by two values - the value of the first term and the value of difference between any two adjacent terms. If a is the first term and d is the difference then the nth term of the Arithmetic progression is given by "a + (n-1)d"
