Objectives
• To accumulate energy, by stretching the large-muscle
groups and releasing them, simultaneously, allowing the entire
rib cage and upper body to expand and contract, working as one
• To sharpen mental focus by aiming at, and hitting, a desired target
• To expand the imagination, by sending the arrow out into the
infi nite universe THE INNER LANDSCAPE OF BOW AND ARROW
Unite your body and mind with the universe, while stretching. Send out
a thought with each arrow. Shoot your heart’s desire into space and
let it circle the globe – engaging your entire body and mind – whether
it’s with a prayer, a request, a dream, or simply giving thanks to the
universe.
Picture your geographical location and imagine your arrow fl ying east
over your neighbourhood, your village, your city, your continent; over
oceans and mountain tops, over deserts and fi elds. Watch patiently for
your arrow to return from the west and settle back into your bow. What
goes around comes around: send a positive message to the universe and
enjoy the positive returns.
Use this Practice to draw Qi-fl ow with your breath, and to drain your
body of toxins, environmental poisons, radiation, digital signals, noise
and any other hazards to your health. Practise Bow and Arrow daily,
for health and vitality, to relieve stress, to S-T-R-E-T-C-H the upper
body and to fi nd Inner Peace.
Allow your Inner Master Qi to choose the direction assertively and speed
effortlessly towards your target
