The e-ceremony celebrates the USAID – HES scholars’ success as civically engaged members of the community and as servant leaders in the society. The video also showcases a documentary on the diverse activities that were undertaken by scholars in humanitarian aid of the August 4 explosion aftermath and a slideshow highlighting the local community initiatives against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Three winners of the USP Excellence Award 2020-2021 were also recognized: Tala Kayyal, Mohamad Khodor, and Fatima Moussawi.
