''A Remake / Remaster of the original Super Mario World, in Godot. Adds new features / improvements!
This project has been abandoned, mainly because of the code quality being poor, and a simple lack of interest. You are more than welcome to fork the repository and release new content / fixes as you wish.
Thank you all for your support and feedback on this project, I have now moved onto bigger and better projects!

Fixed Ice blocks rising out of the water, they now have proper bouyancy physics
The peach coin cutscene will now play when exiting a level through the pause menu, not just when clearing a level via a goal post.
Fixed the save file display showing the wrong blocks for red and blue switches
Fixed dino torches "coming back to life" after being stomped on
Added the extra checkpoint to Ludwigs Castle from SMA2
The Star Road Warps now show the correct titles for where they are going "Special Zone, Yoshi's Island, etc"
Map Paths have been improved, should have little to no stutters now, and should be far smoother
Fixed getting crushed by the spinning roulette blocks in the bonus game
Fixed the third bonus block sometimes counting as "incorrect", even though it logically should be guaranteed correct.
You can now exit and restart a level, if you are stuck inside of a wall, hopefully preventing softlocks
Fixed crash when defeating bowser during "Overhaul Autumn"
Fixed Luigi's Jump animations while using a shell powerup
Updated Credits
Increased the speed of the moving terrain in Bowser Valley 2
Removed the online menu from the title screen (This is because i am unhappy with the security and reliability of it, however it can still be accessed if you run the scene through the Godot Editor, and can easily be modded back in)
Fixed the Item Reserve dropping an item when hit, while the "Auto-Reserve Item Drop" setting was disabled
Raised the ceiling in Vanilla Fortress B, to prevent softlocks while getting the mushroom from the Yellow ! Block (Im working on a proper fix for getting stuck in the ceiling while swimming, hold tight!)
Known Issues
You can still get stuck in the ceiling at times, this is being properly addressed in a future patch
You cannot rebind controls (This is something i simply do not want to add, due to how big of an undertaking it is, YOU CAN GET AROUND THIS BY PLAYING THE GAME THROUGH STEAM AND REMAPPING KEYS / BUTTONS THROUGH STEAM INPUT)''
