Day 1 Roxborough Dam - Miller's Flat: 0:38

We started our journey with a 3.5hr drive from Queenstown to Lawrence and back to the Roxburgh Village Dam to the start of our trail in Central Otago.

This was the first day of our 2 day Clutha Gold ⛏ Cycling 🚵🏻‍♂️ trip along the beautiful and historical Clutha River. Stopping along the way at Pinder’s Pond and the Teviot woolshed ruins. We settled in at the Miller’s Flat campground ⛺️ before heading to the Miller’s Flat Tavern for a delicious dinner 🍽.

Day 2 Miller's Flat - Lawrence: 13:43

Day 2 of our Clutha Gold Trail cycling trip 🚵🏻‍♂️. After packing up our tents ⛺️ in Miller’s Flat we began our 44km journey to Lawrence along the beautiful Clutha River which seemed to sparkle in the morning light 💦.

Stopping for a pub lunch in the town of Beaumont we began our ascent up big hill where we made our way through the big hill tunnel. 434m of darkness the tunnel which is over 100 years old is part of the old railway 🚃 line which was abandoned in 1968.
