Cooking Eggs in a Hot Compost Pile

The compost pile is burning at 77 degree Celsius. We wondered if the heat can cook eggs. We wrapped two eggs in a silver foil and buried them into the compost pile and left them there for three hours.
After three hours we dug them out and found they were cooked and our lunch was hot and ready, right there in the middle of the farm.
