DESCRIPTION:
In this video, we animate and colorize rare black-and-white photographs from Ernest Shackleton’s legendary Endurance expedition (1914-1917), bringing this incredible journey to life like never before. This was one of the last great pioneering expeditions — a voyage to one of the final unexplored corners of the world: the frozen wilderness of Antarctica. Shackleton and his crew set out with the ambitious goal of crossing the continent, but the journey soon turned into a remarkable fight for survival when their ship, Endurance, became trapped and crushed by the ice.
