Yes, I know the wind noise is bad, and there's nothing I can do about it; but that doesn't change that this Thunderbolt was unrecorded, and doesn't make it a terrible recording. For the Iowa statewide tornado drill today, I went solo down to Iowa Falls for their 1003 to see what I'd get. All I knew going in was that the Thunderbolt was active and working, and that it sounded for 3 minutes (thanks to the IFPD who answered all of my questions); so I hoped for the best. It turned out to be a VERY healthy level 3, and was overall a good test. She also put out a lot of sound! This is also the first time I've tried my hand at a double shot, and I think it went pretty okay. Should I try this again in the future or no? Be sure to let me know! Anyway, hope you enjoyed the video.
The City of Iowa Falls tests their siren system annually during the Iowa statewide tornado drill at 10AM, which is generally on a Wednesday near the end of March.
