Melina Almodóvar, also known as “La Muñeca de la Salsa,” is a singing sensation celebrated for her upbeat charm, heartfelt connection with fans, and powerful contribution to salsa music and Latin culture.

Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, into a deeply artistic family, Melina’s passion for music runs in her genes. Over the past decade, she has established herself as a true Champion of Salsa Music, representing passion, celebration, dance, and happiness at the highest level of musical expression.

In 2020, Melina kicked off the year performing at Miami’s iconic Ball & Chain alongside Tito Puente Jr., followed by headlining El Festival de la Salsa in Orlando, Florida. Her final public performance before the pandemic was with Javier Fernández’s Big Band at the Marriott Hotel in San Juan for the album “Tribute a Las Reinas,” honoring the Queens of Latin Music where she performed on two of the ten tracks.

Despite pandemic setbacks, Melina has continued to shine on stage and has been nominated for a Grammy Award in 2024. She now looks forward to performing at the Ms. International Pageant this October.
