This is my isonic ultrasonic record cleaning machine. This cleans most of the records that are shipped from Spatula City. (I also have a smaller one that you can see in my earlier videos).
This is not new technology, it’s been around for decades and they’re used generally for cleaning anything that needs to be perfect. Engine parts, jewelry, etc. Ultrasonic waves are cavitated through a solution to clean dirt and debris from the grooves.
There are many different brands of ultrasonic record cleaners out there and they all work similarly and i believe they all work about the same regardless of what they will tell you in their pitches. I have no affiliation with any of them. I bought the isonic because i felt it was the best one for what I needed.
I have yet to find anything that cleans nearly as good as an ultrasonic machine.
I also made a mistake in this video - the Kirmuss machine is about a grand and the audio desk is the one that is $3,500-4000.
