Описание: Issued nearly three years after the death of Rick James, DEEPER STILL presents tracks that the funk legend had recently completed at the time of his death in 2004. While there are no raucous "Super Freak"-like tunes on this outing, the album does feature James in charmingly pensive R&B/soul mode, as best revealed on the smooth title song and the jazzy "Sapphire." It's sad to think that this might have been the start of a big comeback, but, regardless, DEEPER STILL, with its gentle, easy-going arrangements, is a fine way to remember James.
