What does lying mean to you? In this short Ted-Talk, Malcolm Daleus, a junior, delves into the complexities of the act of lying and explores whether such an act is always bad.
Growing up, Malcolm Daleus has always questioned what is good and what is bad. He’s always been curious about moral issues and enjoys thinking about all sides of a certain topic. The idea of lying came from a question of one’s own consciousness and values. Lying was something he saw everyone do yet similarly saw everyone condemn doing which made him curious as to why this was the case.
TED-Ed, TED's education initiative, inspires tomorrow's TED speakers and future leaders by supporting students in discovering, developing and sharing their big ideas in the form of short, TED-style talks. In the TED-Ed Student Talk program, students work together to discuss and celebrate creative ideas through TED-Ed's flexible curriculum.
