Timelapse video from Alaska captured the night sky over Fairbanks lit up by an aurora on Tuesday (January 20) and Wednesday (January 21).
The video was taken from North Point Cottage, with streaks of green and purple putting on a stunning display.
Recent aurora activity is linked to the sun being at the peak of its 11-year cycle, known as solar maximum, when solar activity intensifies and offers more frequent auroral displays.
