About the artist
After several singles revisiting Aragonese folklore, Idoipe publishes 'Cierzo Lento', his first full-length album, on May 21, 2021. In this LP of 8 songs he mixes his background as a musician and his electronic influences with his love for his land.
In 2022 Idoipe stars in and provides the soundtrack for the documentary Tañen Furo, for which he embarks on a journey through the Aragonese Pyrenees collecting sounds of the mountains, its people and traditions, and mixing them with electronic music. He is currently preparing his second album, which will be released in the middle of this year.

About the location
The dunes that we see in Maspalomas are formed by sediments from the erosion of volcanic rocks and the decomposition of marine organisms (foraminifera, calcareous algae, mollusk shells, etc.). Marine currents deposit these sediments on the shore and once they have dried, the wind moves them inland. Subsequently, plants such as the balancones (Traganum moquinii) help the sand to accumulate progressively until it forms a mound, the dune. This dune grows with the progressive contribution of sand and the increase in plant height. Another part of the sand surrounds the shelves and is deposited behind them (forming leeward dunes). When two leeward dunes converge, small parabolic dunes are formed, which move inland until they lose the influence of the overhangs and form flat dunes. The union of several barjana dunes forms more complex dunes called barjanoid cords, which are the main type that make up the mobile dunes of Maspalomas.
