December sure was a rainy month! Sadly that meant I couldn’t get over to the Lake District as much as I would have like. Instead I swapped the mountains for some railway paths.
The Auckland Way is a 4.3 mile walk starting from Bishop Auckland and ending in Spennymoor. It is a lovely flat linear walk and a great one for walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike.
