[SMRT] Kawasaki CSR Qingdao Sifang C151B [609/610] - Changi Airport » Tanah Merah (CGL)
Filmed on 27 November 2025.
609/610’s first time running on the Changi Airport Line. Didn’t happen earlier primarily because it was involved in the Bishan flooding incident in 2017 and only returned to service in end-2019; by then the C151B “spam” on CGL had ended.
Also the first time a C151B with the other half of its STARIS V2 interface updated displaying the Changi Airport Line stations and the new V2 display. Currently all active C151C trains except 719/720 have both sides of the screen updated, while only 609/610, 643/644 and 671/672 have both of their screens updated.
This train only ran from 9am to 11am, after it replaced 889/890 and got replaced by 807/808.
