Описание: Jalgaon News | जळगाव जिल्ह्यातील कापूस उत्पादक शेतकरी मोठ्या अडचणीत आहेत. 'सीसीआय'तर्फे (CCI - Cotton Corporation of India) कापूस खरेदीचा मुहूर्त अद्यापही निघाला नाहीये. अगोदर 1 ऑक्टोबर, नंतर 15 ऑक्टोबर आणि आता 28 ऑक्टोबरचा मुहूर्त मिळाला आहे. सीसीआयची केंद्रं सुरू होत नसल्याने, शेतकऱ्यांना दिवाळी साजरी करण्यासाठी नाईलाजाने खासगी व्यापाऱ्यांना कापूस विकावा लागत आहे. शासकीय हमीभाव ₹8,100 असताना, व्यापारी केवळ ₹7,100 रुपये भाव देत आहेत, ज्यामुळे शेतकऱ्यांचे मोठे नुकसान होत आहे. अतिवृष्टीमुळे झालेले नुकसान आणि कमी भावात कापूस विकावा लागत असल्याने शेतकरी हवालदिल झाले आहेत. जळगावमध्ये लवकरात लवकर सीसीआयची खरेदी केंद्रे सुरू व्हावीत, अशी मागणी शेतकरी करत आहेत.

Cotton farmers in Jalgaon district are facing major difficulties as the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) purchase has been repeatedly delayed. Initially scheduled for October 1st, then the 15th, the purchase is now expected to begin on October 28th. Due to the continuous delay, farmers are forced to sell their cotton to private traders at a much lower price to manage expenses for Diwali. While the Government Minimum Support Price (MSP) is ₹8,100, private traders are offering only ₹7,100, causing a huge loss to the farmers. Many farmers have also suffered crop damage due to heavy rains. Farmers are urgently demanding that CCI purchase centers be started immediately in Jalgaon district.
