Faraya adalah sebuah kampung dan perbandaran di Daerah Keserwan di Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon. Nama "Faraya" bermaksud "Tanah buah-buahan dan sayur-sayuran" di Phoenicia kerana kesuburan tanahnya. Ia terletak 46 kilometer di utara Beirut, Lubnan. Peningkatan ketinggian dari 1200 meter hingga 2000 meter di atas paras laut dan jumlah keseluruhan kawasannya ialah 870 hektar. Penduduk Faraya kebanyakannya Kristian Maronit. Jalan ke Faraya dari lebuh raya pantai melalui Ajaltoun, Ashqout, Faytroun, Mairouba, dan Hrajel dan 5 minit ke resort ski Mzaar. S
Di musim sejuk salji akan turun dari bulan Disember sehingga penghujung bulan Mac. Pada tahun 2007, Empangan Chabrouh telah dirasmikan mewujudkan salah satu takungan tertinggi di rantau Timur Tengah, tetapi akibatnya, membanjiri lebih daripada tiga suku daripada kebun Pada tahun 2017, patung terbesar di Saint Charbel di Lebanon telah dirasmikan menjadikannya salah satu tapak ziarah yang paling kerap dilawati di Lubnan.

~ Introduction ~
  Faraya is a village and municipality in the Northern District of Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon. The name "Faraya" means "Land of fruits and vegetables" in Phenicia because of its fertility. It is 46 kilometers north of Beirut, Lebanon. The elevation increases from 1200 meters to 2000 meters above sea level and the total area is 870 hectares. The people of Faraya are mostly Christian Maronites. Travel to Faraya from the coastal highway via Ajaltoun, Ashqout, Faytroun, Mairouba, and Hrajel and 5 minutes to Mzaar ski resort. During winter, the snow will falls from December untill the end of March. In 2007, the Chabrouh Dam was officially opened as one of the highest reservoirs in the Middle East region, but as a result, flooding more than three quarters of the gardens In 2017, the largest statue of Saint Charbel in Lebanon was opened to make it one of the most visited sites in Lebanon.
