Born out of St. Dominic’s zeal eight centuries ago, the Dominican Sisters joyfully strive to glorify God through faithfully preaching the truth for the salvation of souls. Living the Dominican motto, “to contemplate and to give to others the fruits of our contemplation,” we delve deeply into prayer in order to evangelize in our apostolic ministries as Catholic educators, catechists, and home healthcare nurses.
With more than 100 members, the Dominican Sisters joyfully dedicate themselves by serving in local parishes, schools, and home-health agencies throughout the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Diocese of Orange, Dioceses of Beaumont, Victoria, and Fort Worth, Texas.
