Описание: We will run through an example that compares the three types of cache architectures- direct mapped, set associative and fully associative caches- compares the hits/misses of each of these.

Direct mapped caches are simplest and fastest but offer low hit rates and poor utilization. Fully associative caches provide excellent hit rates and utilization but are complex and slow due to high comparator counts.

Set associative caches are in between these extremes, providing moderate hit rates and hardware complexity.
