He was going through a rough patch with Lexi and was thinking back to the good old days, when we were all living in the same town and could hang out every weekend. That’s when he tried pressing that weird remote, while wishing I could hang out with him again. Somehow that damn thing yanked me out of my body and forced me into Lexi’s. It took a bit to explain to Damien who I really was but he eventually believed me, I honestly regret doing that.

Ever since then, he’s been using that remote as his ultimate escape. He initially just used it so we could hang out again, letting me possess Lexi for a couple of hours or even the full weekend. While I did feel bad for Lexi, Damien clearly needed the company, and I thought I was just being a bro. But then Damien realized he could just use the remote to end any argument between him and Lexi. With Damien being my best friend I didn’t complain too much, but I started to realize this might be getting a bit unhealthy.
