Shroud of Turin or Turin Shroud (Italian: Sindone di Torino, Sacra Sindone) is a linen cloth bearing the image of a man who appears to have suffered physical trauma in a manner consistent with crucifixion.[1]

Angelbert Metoyers current sound film work's focuses on creating compositions that blur the line between something and nothing, making what he calls "invisible painting" - often using sound. He says of his work; "for me, the sound of painting is just as important as its 'look'. By creating the sound (invisible) first, I have found that the visual follows. By making my work increasingly multi-dimensional and multi-media, I attempt to create hyper-sensory environments that force the audience to make broad leaps of imagination. In this way, I create a mirror, a message about identity that questions local and global cultural constructs. I am investigating the non-visual, or invisible power of painting. "
