The house has adopted a terroir-based philosophy and retired its non-vintage blend after 150 years, replacing it with a single-vintage-based cuvée that changes yearly.
Each year, a new numbered cuvée is released, with the number based on the vintage year. This innovation has received critical acclaim for its remarkable minerality and transparency. Additionally, the house produces small quantities of terroir-based cuvées, each from a unique parcel of vines. Jacquesson is also known for its older vintages, left undisgorged in its cellars until release fifteen or more years after the vintage.
