Описание: Al-Hallaj (c. 858–922) was a Persian Sufi mystic, poet, and revolutionary thinker. He is famous for his controversial mystical statements, most notably "Anā al-Ḥaqq" (I am the Truth/God). While he saw this as a profound expression of union with the Divine, it was interpreted as blasphemy by the orthodox establishment. His radical teachings on ecstatic love and his refusal to recant led to his lengthy imprisonment and eventual brutal execution by the Abbasid Caliphate in Baghdad.
