A review of Tamiya's, 1/35 scale, SU-85 Tank Destroyer, Kit No. 89797, released in 2010, which was originally released in 1975, under Kit No. MM72.
In this particular kit, 89797, Tamiya has included their 3 colour "Weathering Master Set for Russian Tanks" (Red Earth, Sand & Soot), which was also included in the 2013 re-release of the SU-85, along with 7 crew figures, under Kit No. 25110.
As well as the Weathering Set, this 1970's medium level detail kit includes, a commander figure, plastic tow cables, vinyl tracks, classic style Tamiya assembly instructions, optional open/closed hatches (no interior detailing), a small decal sheet, with individual tank numbers, and a basic painting guide for Russian tanks.
