We've been waiting for him to come in our studio for months, but finally it's here!
Introducing DJ BADKNIFE on MUSICOS BALI
Badknife is maturing the sound that is burgeoning today, notably thanks to David
Shaw and his label Her Majesty's Ship, which allows him to reveal his synth-wave
musical DNA, between italo disco synthesizers and analog house drum machines.
After two tracks that were successful on the Unpopular Music compilation in 2018
(HMS), some EPs for HMS, Critical Monday Records, Jane Musica and remixes
(La Notte Di Parigi, Beyond The Struttosphere, Velax, Roswell Brothers, Plaisir de France, Sarah Rebecca, Vongold, Tin, Guillaume Leglise) waver between twilight italo pop and Balearic
ramblings. A digest of Badknife. A bit of a schlass thug, a jocker rocker and a dancer
with a big heart.
