The main strategy is using Gengar as a catch-all lead that can usually at least trade positively with destiny bond or completely destroy the opponent (the AI never plays around counter). Mons that gengar can't handle are then handled by Starmie and Garchomp who are excellent revenge killers with defensive utility.

This team has its weaknesses and struggles hard against Abomasnow funnily enough. However, it has several upsides making it worth bruteforcing through it should it be faced. Slaking is dicey too, since it tends to run special sets after 50+ wins, but usually it can be played around if you guess tbolt right on T1 and use SD after.

It is kind of a mishmash of the usual d-bond strat- without lass and bliss- and all-out offense but with a few tweaks (notably gengar running energy ball instead of tbolt because most important coverage is covered by starmie.

I did try the full d-bond one and from my personal experience, not being able to run double sash hurts it a lot. It is also very prone to getting punished by rng due to its passivity in the 3v3.
