There’s great opportunities for some fun downhill pistes, with more challenging downhill skiing available at Lauchernalp, where runs are up to 3100m – easily access by rail or bus from the village. A wide range of other winter activities including winter walking and snowshoeing are also available, if a gentle horse drawn sleigh ride through the village is your thing, these can be arranged easily with the hotel or a more energetic toboggan ride, Ice-rink, snowshoe excursion or game of curling – it’s the perfect base!
